What better way to celebrate 10 weeks of The Process than with a song you probably already know? I know, this always happens… The Process used to be cool but then they changed it up and it was never the same. Another band that couldn’t just stick to what worked for them. Sister City is dead to me.

Kids, today we are going to talk about types of songs. At the base level, there are two main categories: singles and album tracks. Look at Blink-182. Their setlist is 19 versions of “All The Small Things,” and “The Rock Show.” There’s no “Zulu” or “Lemmings” and there never will be again. So just get over it and stop expecting impossible things. Do you really still care about Blink that much, Adam? Jesus.

There are those guys at the open mics that really only have the one song they wrote—probably for their girlfriend—a few years ago. They dutifully play their song about standing under the streetlight in the rain, or whatever, week after week, along with the requisite Oasis and ironic pop/hip-hop covers. It’s a decent song. Some people from the audience probably go up to him afterwards and tell him how much they liked it. A year later, he’s still doing the same songs.
