Talking Small — We are recording a new album!

If we weren't recording an album, why would there be 8 inputs going into this Firepod?

We are. We started on 12/24/11. The record is called Small Talk. It is a departure from our previous output in that it is finally not Carbon Footprint. We are going to involve our fans in the process (heh.) as much as possible. To that end, we’ve been posting videos at our Youtube page.  Adam will also be writing a series of posts about the technical side of recording called “The Manager’s Chair.” That’s the name of his chair that he got from Target for $100. Maybe they’ll go up once a week? The first one is going up tomorrow.

As it stands, we’ve got drums done. It’s time for a spot of drum editing, then onto instruments with strings and frets and necks.

Here at Sister City Hall (there are seriously so many stupid puns with this name) we are very excited for what 2012 will bring. We had a great 2011. A lot of people on the internet said very nice things about our album. In 2012 we are hoping to do other things that real bands do, like see you in person. We will see.
